For this weeks Weekend Challenge I decided to recreate the car that I grew up with. The car was a Volvo 740 Estate which we nicknamed "the big car" as it was the larger of the 2 cars we had at the time. Sure it was old and a noisy car but it was reliable, comfortable, and had one hell of a turning circle. Plus you could fit a hell of a lot of stuff inside it which made it ideal for a large family like ours. We had it for about 20 years until the wiring finally gave out and it was decided that it wasn't worth the cost or time to repair it. Ha how many people can say they had the same car for 20 years? Kinda adds weight to the saying that they don't build them like they used to.
Its that time of week again when I tell you lovely people what I've been up to. This week I have been learning and making a new type of facial rig for my Joker character so I'm going to talk about the 2 different ways of which I know of how to make a facial rig. I'll call them Shape Key Rig and Muscle Rig (I don't know there official names so that will have to do). I'll start by going over what each one is and how they differ from one another.
This weeks Weekend Challenge was to make a 3D replica of my Dads old Tripod. This wasn't the original plan for this challenge. Originally I was building an old wooden ship but due to some set backs (no power Saturday morning, spraining my ankle, getting the file corrupted) I decided to make this in the few hours I had left.
Its that time of week again when I tell you lovely people what I've been up to. This week I've had a few issues with power and not having access to my main computer so there hasn't been a lot of progress on any front. Excuses aside, I've made a little progress on the Joker, and I completed the new TARDIS that I was asked to make. So lets get down to it.
This weeks Weekend Challenge was to finish the Elite VS Davros Animation that I have been working on. The main parts that were to be completed were cleaning the animation so it runs smoother, and fix the lighting. This was the plan and I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for Saturdays series of events. LOng story short, I got cought up helping set up, attending, and then cleaning up an event on Saturday. I also had the pleasure of helping move a fridge, a freezer, and a fridge-freezer around the house and garage. This left about an hours free time to work on the challenge. I did spend most of Sunday however working on the animation.
