Hello & Welcome to this Weeks Weekly Round-up. This weeks events include: making the 4 Seasons image, and the reintroduction of the personal touch.
BTW the image above I made following a short Tutorial so I won't be talking about it. You can do the Tutorial here if you want. Its not hard, it was just curious about it.
On Tuesday I had a little bit of a silly day and decided to create something a little different from my usual norm. I'll admit this may have come around when my mother said "why don't you make anything nice?" after she had seen my Elite model. So my version of "nice" is flowers for some reason so I decided to make that.
Fun fact: I don't like making flowers, I don't even like flowers.
That's why I went ahead and made the stuff around the flower. I call it 4 Seasons as each quarter is mean to represent one of the seasons.
The majority of the work was done on the Tuesday, however, I ran out of ideas out the spring section until Wednesday morning. I had the bright idea of add Bee's to the image. This required me to make another character model and since there would be more than 1 in different poses, I had to rig it.
I didn't spend a lot of time modelling it but for some reason I decided it needed a full character rig. Even though I had only created a rig this past weekend, I found it quite difficult but I got it finished in the end (except the face which is where I drew the line).
Apparently I haven't been adding anything personal to my blog to let you kind people know what I'm like in real life, so from now on, I will write a little bit about what I'm currently doing (not work related). I've also added a picture of me up the top of the blog so you can all see what I look like.
I just finished re-watching all 9 seasons of the X-Files. As much as I like the show, I can't help but feel like it shouldn't have gone past the 8th Season, maybe even 7th. Its a trend which I've noticed in a lot of TV shows. SG-1 for example - Great for 8 seasons then it went downhill rather fast.
I'm not blaming the new cast members that came in to replace some older ones, its just the stories just seem to not carry so well which is probably why the shows don't last much past those seasons.
It makes me glad that non of the Star Treks series went past 7 seasons so they ended on a high(er) note.
Now onto the Scrubs marathon. All 8 seasons of it. No, the 9th never happened.
