Hello and Welcome to the Weekly Round-Up. The Blog that details what I do week to week. This weeks events included: Continuing to rebuild the Kelvin Class starship, and publishing my first video tutorial. As usual, I'll have a little about my personal life at the bottom which will include the recent Fun Run Race I took part in.
This past week I have been continuing to rebuild the Kelvin type starship that was found to be corrupted last week. Since last week I have added panelling, added in some extra windows, fixed the guns, changed some of the lighting, started the compositing, and started to texture the model. I've also come up with a name and number for the ship. Now it will be known as the U.S.S.CRONKEE and its serial number is NCC-1337. Its a reference to something else but I'm not going to say what.
I'll continue to texture and adding to the model over the coming week so hopefully it will be finished before next weeks blog entry.
Finally got the audio added to the video and published my first video tutorial. YAY!
This tutorial focuses on how to create a basic star field in Blender with Cycles and link it so it follows the camera so it never gets out of view. There is also a little compositing in the end to add a little extra something to the stars.
On Saturday I ran in the Kirkmichael 10K race. Out of the 45 people who entered the race, I ended up being 23rd in the end. My running time for the 10K was 49 minutes 49 Seconds. I'm a little disappointed with that time but it gives me a goal to beat next time. In case you were wondering, the fastest time was 35 minutes 17 seconds.
I did another run on Monday trying to beat my time but I ended up injuring my foot. Good times. Once it healed I'll keep try to break it. Either that or I'll give up and focus on something new.
Hi, I'm Claude, head & creator of Adaptive Pixel. You might be wondering what brought you here and I'm here to tell you, it was a link. Here is where I will be posting what I'm currently doing and challenges I've done.
