Hello all. Time to talk about what I've done this week. Well I've recorded voices, started to build a new set, and forgotten to be doing something I said I would. On an unrelated note, I've started listening to Rammstein again to try stop me singing along with songs as they are all in German. It didn't work. Now I just mumble along trying to sing German which is a language I do not speak or understand.
I've also updated to the latest version of Blender available here. It crashed when it was copying all my settings over from the older version so I spent a good half hour changing them manually. What fun that was.
The super secret main project that I've wanted to do for years.
So my microphone finally arrived and I've been doing some fun stuff with it. Most notably I have been recording the voices for Project Bob. I have now recorded all of the script in a variety of voices to try and get the best fit for it. But that's kinda the problem now.
I can't seem to find a voice I like for the characters and I think I need to rewrite the script. So with that in mind its back on hold till it rewritten. I still like the basic idea behind the animation but the dialogue just now seems wrong since I can now hear it coming back at me.
Weekend Challenge Update
Well if you have been keeping up with my weekend challenges, you know that I have started the animating process of the Davros character. This week I plan to continue to animate the character to the audio track. I planned to render out the frames at night but I've only remember to do that once this week. I keep falling asleep!!!
To solve this I'm going to make a poster or something to remind me to do it. Maybe set an alarm to wake me up to set it...
You can see what I've done so far in the video below.
