Elite Time Line:
Modelling Base -> Sculpting Base -> Modelling Armour -> Texturing Armour -> Rigging -> Animating
This weeks Weekend Challenge was to design and start to build some armour for the Halo Elite character I have been working on. Two different variants have been started; an electronic based one and a sheet metal based one.
Neither of the designs are finished modelling wise. The reason for having 2 variants is because after the first day of modelling a lot of different designs for the sheet metal variant, I was not really happy with the outcome. This made me decided to try and create the electronic based armour the following day.
Both variants have gone through multiple design changes which is why not that much progress has been made on either one. The variants have included spiked helmets through to a more Roman look with a brush on top of the head. Although interesting to create, I felt they did not suit this Elite.
Next week I will continue to work on these 2 armour variants to include the smaller details and to texture them properly.
