Elite Time Line:
Modelling Base -> Sculpting Base -> Modelling Armour -> Texturing Armour -> Rigging -> Animating
This weeks Weekend Challenge was to continue to build the set for the Elite animation and to start animating.
The majority of the work was put into adding/changing details of the lower level of the room and animating the Elites entrance into the scene. I'll admit there was a few hick-ups like the Handle for the Energy sword at first behaved itself but then decided to go on a long trip around the room. It was a problem whith switching the parent child relations that I eventually solved with Key framing it.
I also had problems with the walk cycles being too stompy, the NLA editor, and the fact I made Covenant geometry in the room when it should have been Forerunner.
It took some time but all there errors have been fixed to one extent or another.
Next week I will continue to build the room and animating things. There is really not much I can say about what I'm doing when I'm animating because I could spoil the final animation which is why the posts aren't as long or detailed as usual.
