This week I decided to make a clockwork contraption and this is what I came up with!
I don't know what it is... I want to say pocket watch but theres no hands... or a face... and the gears don't fit together.
I don't even know how clockwork works...
Anyway, most of the time was spent modelling the different gears as I did them all manually. I could have used an add-on to make the work go faster but I felt like I needed the practice.
I only used 2 materials for the entire piece which is a little unusual for me as I tend to use, well, a lot more than 2.
What do you think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know in the comments below.
Next week I'll be doing another random weekend challenge that definitely won't be clockwork. Until then, you can keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Deviant Art. In addition to Weekend Challenges, I do weekly blogs called the Weekly Round-Up that are posted every Thursday in which you can see what I do throughout the week. I'm working on a robot just now and no, it isn't clockwork too.
