For this weeks challenge I decided to create my very own DSLR Camera. To be clear, this is not enktirely based off of my own actual camera; I however took the main elements of the camera and made my own version of it.
I think I got all the main parts of the camera included in this but I'm not 100% sure. I sent most of the time modelling the main body of the camera which although appears to be rectangular in shape, it rather more complex as it has lots of little curvy areas. Believe it or not, creating the lens was easier than creating the body.
I decided to leave this model as a clay render as I didn't want to go around making 100 different labels for this. Besides there were other things I had to do this weekend which shortened the time I could work on this.
Next week I'll be doing another random weekend challenge. Until then, you can keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Deviant Art. In addition to Weekend Challenges, I do weekly blogs called the Weekly Round-Up that are posted every Thursday in which you can see what I do throughout the week.
