First off, Happy New Year! Now that's out of the way, lets get down to what's have been up to these last 2 weeks. First I'll go over what I've got planed for this weeks weekend challenge, then my latest show-reel, and finish off with what I am currently doing during the week.
Weekend Challenge Update.
I said on my last blog that I would record audio and lip sync the Davros head to the audio if my microphone hasn't arrived yet and I doubt it will be hear before Saturday. This means that I will have to go with my back-up plan of using another audio. After browsing my music library and laughing about the thought of Davros singing "Everything is Awesome" I finally found an suitable audio to use. The audio is actually from an old serial of Doctor Who from back in the 70s called Genesis of the Daleks which dealt with Davros's first appearance.
I will be using the audio from the final part of the last episode of the serial. I will edit it down slightly to cut out a few voices and animate Davros and 1 or 2 of the Daleks to the audio track. I don't expect to get that finished this weekend and I definitely won't be able to render out the full animation in time. I will however upload an unrendered animated version of what I get done.
As rendering out animation can/will take a long time, I think I will render it out at night across the week instead of waiting till the weekend to do it. This will of course mean that I won't have a great amount of sleep but its a sacrifice I'm willing to take.
So for the last week or so, I have been sifting through some of my old work to create a new show-reel. Unlike the last, this one focuses on interiors I have created in 3D and I was much more time concious as the experts say its best to be below 2 minutes. I have a version uploaded now to YouTube for everyone to see and I even embedded it below. Check it out.
Each of the projects shown in the show reel is actually on this site if you want to check them out. I've linked them below.
2. TARDIS 2009
3. Grand Designs Interior
4. TARDIS 2010
What I'm currently doing.
Well first and foremost, I'm looking for work. - - hint hint - - But I'm also doing some other things like starting new small 3D projects, and planning out how I could approach my next "big" project. Not what you would call exciting.
I'm also going to upgrade my workout routine to burn those few extra pounds I picked up over Xmas and start driving lessons.
Hi, I'm Claude, head & creator of Adaptive Pixel. You might be wondering what brought you here and I'm here to tell you, it was a link. Here is where I will be posting what I'm currently doing and challenges I've done.
